Maysarah evokes ease, abundance, and the grace of things becoming possible. It is a name for the spirit we hope to cultivate here: a place cared for with patience, made welcoming with intention, and allowed to grow with purpose.
This is the beginning of a new chapter for the land—and a long-term commitment to what it can become.
The land
Open fields, mature tree lines, barns, pasture, and a winding creek give Maysarah Farm its character. Its agricultural roots will remain part of its future as we learn the land, care for what is here, and shape what comes next.
A legacy of gathering and giving
For decades, the Lewis family cared for this land as an equestrian farm, a family home, and a place of service. Beginning in 2006, the farm became home to the Ten Oaks Cup, a series of charity polo matches benefiting Our Daily Bread in Baltimore.
The matches brought riders, neighbors, sponsors, and guests together in Clarksville, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to support meals and services for people experiencing poverty and homelessness.
That history matters to Maysarah Farm. It reminds us that land can be more than something we own—it can be a place where generosity, hospitality, and community take root.
A place can carry its history forward without standing still.

What is taking root
Agriculture will remain central to the land, with each new use chosen carefully and allowed to develop at the right pace.
